Care Provider Registration and Credentialing
Referring the right care provider to meet the client’s specific needs is our goal. Preferred Private Care, a Florida licensed Nurse Registry, goes through a rigid registration and credentialing process, to ensure that all Care Providers meet the state of Florida requirements, prior to being referred to clients in need of care. Care providers must maintain their credentials on a regular basis in order to remain in good standing with our Nurse Registry.
The registration and credentialing process includes, but is not limited to, verification of the following:
- AHCA Level 2 Background Screening (fingerprinting) Stating Eligible to work in this field
- Health Statement, indicating free from communicable disease
- CPR Training by a Certified Instructor
- Professional Nursing License or Home Health Aide Certification
- Driver’s License
- Documents that confirm identity and employment authorization
- Continuing Education: HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s, Assistance w/Self Administration of Medication, Domestic Violence, HIPAA
- Confidential References
- Professional Liability Insurance
